Our Bliss Angels

The first Bliss Angel TM came into being as a fine Angel jewelry gift item in late 1994 - created by the husband and wife team of designer George Damien and goldsmith Natalia Louise Corich who maintain their studios in the Sierra Nevada foothills of northern California.

The concept for this beautiful angelic jewelry arose unbidden during the process of creating a gift for a close friend - materializing in such a surprisingly unplanned, uncomplicated and joyful fashion, that we felt that this lovely Angel, christened "Bliss Angel", was meant to be made widely available to those who might be enriched through its beauty and its positive, subtle energies.

The past few years of feedback from people's interactions with our "Bliss Angel" pin, pendant or earrings have led us to believe that the Bliss Angel functions, in part, as a kind of intimate personal pager - reminding each of us, in a very fundamental way, of our sense of belonging and of our inherent potential for love, joy, happiness and well-being. Each beautifully packaged Bliss Angel contains a small note expressing this sentiment.

Maintaining the classic simplicity of the original Bliss Angel design was a primary objective in developing the Bliss Angel Jewelry line which is now composed of Seven distinct Angels - each handcrafted by American craftsmen: the "Beauty", "Grace", "Elegance", "Millennium", "Radiance", "Joy" and the petite "Demi-Bliss Angels".
